Adding SignMetrix Analytics to the BrightSign Feed_QuickStart Guide

This method is very straightforward, it will use the BrightAuthor zone message capability to post to the SignMetrix system.

The plugin uses the image/video name as the SignMetrix product message, 

i.e.

Dyson V12 Detect Slim.jpg

will post,

  1. Edit the plugin file (SignMetrix-v012725Beta.brs) and add your SignMetrix License Code.

  2. Add the modified plugin to your presentation. Make sure the name is exactly as found below.


  3. In BrightAuthor add/use a Medialist widget and add a Dynamic Playlist as the Source
    1. Add a timer to change images. ( I’ve added shuffle images.)

  4. In the List Content window, add your Dynamic Playlist
  5. Scroll down in the List Content window and make sure “Send Zone Message…” is enabled.
  6. Publish your presentation, your product names will be posted to SignMetrix as the presentation plays.
