How to manage default assets?

Learn how to customize default assets at both the company-wide level and for specific stores or stands on the SignMetrix panel.



  1. Go to SignMetrix.com and log in.
  2. Click the company name in the upper right corner.
  3. Click the "Default Assets" button. A pop-up window should appear.

  4. Understanding Default Assets:

    1. Background Image: Shown on the display when there is no interaction.
    2. Sticker Image: Displayed as a GIF on the screen in the absence of movement.
    3. Intro Video: Plays before the content of the product is shown.
    4. Default Video: Plays when there is no movement.
  5. Managing Default Assets for Specific Store or Stand:
    1. Click the "Stores" or "Stands" tab on the left.
    2. Choose the relevant store or stand from the list.
    3. Open the "Actions" tab on the right.
    4. Click the "Manage Default Assets" button. A pop-up window should appear.
    5. Any changes made on this page will only affect the default assets for the selected store or stand.
  6. Use case scenerios:
    1. Sticker Image: Use this to highlight a new product, promotion, or limited-time deal. It appears as a visual overlay that draws attention to specific items on the display.
    2.  
      Intro Video: Ideal for capturing attention when a customer approaches, picks up a product, or opens a display door. It can also be used to showcase your brand logo or a short brand message before the main content starts.

      Idle Video: Plays when there is no active customer interaction. It can serve as a looping attract video or a call-to-action clip that encourages engagement.
