How to manage SmartBox settings?

Learn how to configure various SmartBox settings, like display and motion settings, from the Pick 'n' Watch panel.

  1. Go to picknwatch.com and log in.
  2. Click on the "SmartBoxes" tab on the left side menu.
  3. From the list, choose the specific SmartBox you want to configure.
  4. On the right, click "Settings".
  5. From the Settings pop-up window, you can configure:
    1. Video Display:
      1. Aggressive Mode: Plays the very last moved item immediately, regardless of the previous history.
      2. Queued Mode: Delays playing the video of the last moved item if another active video is playing; it plays after the first video ends.
      3. Nearest Mode: Similar to aggressive mode but favors nearest tags if two tags are played at the same time.
      4. Idle Video Activation Duration: Decides how long the device wait should be before starting a default video on the idle screen (enter 0 to disable).
      5. Image Duration: Specifies how many seconds the product's picture will be shown before the video plays.
      6. Show Intro Video: Indicates whether a small catchy intro video will be shown before the product video is played.
      7. Show Sticker: When enabled, shows a flashing sticker on the idle screen.
    2. Motion:
      1. Lost Detection Duration: Determines how long the device wait should be before the tag is marked as lost.
      2. End by Returning to Reference Pos.: Used on vertical tap settings; stops the video when the tag returns to the beginning location.
      3. Move Start Sensitivity: Sets the sensitivity of the tags; increasing this value makes videos play with fewer movements.

      4. Move Start Ensure Duration: Filters instant short motions.
      5. Move End Sensitivity: Determines when the movement ends.

      6. Move End Ensure Duration: Decides how long someone holds a product.

      7. Working Range: Limits faraway movements; instructs the system to work within a specific range.

    3. Default Settings:
      1. For regular demo stands, click "Set Standard Defaults."
      2. For beer and wine taps, doors, or similar fixed-point use cases, click "Set to Vertical Tap Defaults."
  6. Click "OK" on the settings window.
  7. On the right, click "Update".
