What definitions are required to enable SignMetrix Audience Measurement, and how do you set them up?

Before You Begin

Make sure you have created the following definitions in your SignMetrix account:

• Store
  
  
• Stand
  
  
• Zone
  
  

These must be defined before activating SmartCircle.

Step 1: Log in to Your SignMetrix Account

1. Go to SignMetrix.com
   
   
2. Click Login in the top-right corner.
   
   
3. Enter your username and password to access your dashboard.
   
   

Step 2: Create a Store

A Store represents your physical retail location.

Summary:

1. Navigate to Stores.
   
   
2. Click + to Create Store.
   
   
3. Enter Store Name, Address, and any optional details.
   
   
4. Click Save.
   
   

Step 3: Create a Stand

A Stand represents a specific fixture or signage installation inside a store.

Summary:

1. Navigate to Stands.
   
   
2. Click + to Create Stand.
   
   
3. Select the related Store from the dropdown list.
   
   
4. Enter Stand Name.
   
   
5. Click Save.
   
   

Step 4: Create a Zone

A Zone groups one or more media players for reporting and filtering.
You can assign multiple media players to one Zone, or create individual Zone for each player.

To create a Zone:

1. Navigate to Stands.
   
   
2. Click Zones on the top menu
   
   
3. Click + to Create Zone.
   
   
4. Select the related Store from the dropdown list.
   
   
5. Enter Zone Name (for example: Entrance, Checkout 4, etc.).
   
   
6. Click Save.
   
   

Step 5: Assign Media Players to Store and Zone

1. Click to Device Management.
   
   
2. Select the media player you want to assign.
   
   
3. Choose the corresponding Store, Stand, and Zone from dropdowns.
   
   
4. Click Update.
   
   

Step 6: Enable SmartCircle (Audience Measurement)

Once Stores, Stands, and Zones are defined, you can enable SmartCircle for your media players.

After activation, your displays begin collecting audience analytics automatically.
